IMPLIMENT THE TJRC REPORT.I HUMBLY APPEAL.

It not only pains me,but also uncalled for to hear the Presidency through the DP Ruto openly dismiss the Truth Justice and reconciliation Commission report.Having in mind that the presidency is a symbol of national unity whose key mandate should be based on Justice and reconciliation. Ruto clearly shows as  new definition of history as in; "history is a set of lies agreed upon" Leaving that aside,it's important to give a recarp of what I am trying to drive home. Nobody needs reminding of the reason for the existence of the truth commission. However, I will do so. The commission is a product of the Truth Justice and Reconciliation Act. The Act was legislated in 2008 on the premise of, among others, the fact that the history of Kenya was riddled with contested claims on certain occurrences and why they happened. The commission was tasked with establishing the extent of injustice and its sources in Kenya’s post-independence history: that is, from December 12, 1963 u

KENYANS MUST KNOW.YOU CANT MISS THIS.

ABOUT THE ALLEGED RAILA HATE SPEECH AT KAJIADO. Raila is innocent. Raila pleads with the Maasai not to sell their land, but preserve it for posterity. Uhuru gets alarmed, he twists the wording as expunge and expulsion of the Kikuyu. Wrong. Raila only warned the Maasai to watch out. Lest what happened in kilgoris befall them. Maybe you are starting to wonder what happened in kilgoris? In 2007,Konchella,a Masai was floored by an immigrant, a kipsigis. Maasais were furious and declared war... The government acted fast, went beyond the then electoral body and suspended the results. Konchella won the subsequent election and peace was restored temporarily. Kilgoris constituency, thereafter was split to accommodate the kipsigis, hence Emuria Dikirr. What am I driving at? While the constitution is clear, Anyone can settle anywhere, do business anywhere.. That's how silly the article is. You can't settle kwao, you can't do business kwao. Remember the plea, marry more wives and m

COME ON.LETS FACE IT.

IS JUBILEE JUSTIFIED FOR A SECOND TERM?COMMENTS ARE INVITED AT THE END OF THIS BLOG. It’s been four years since the Jubilee coalition took office and nine months since the Jubilee Party (JP) was formed. The coalition, which was elected purely on an ICC platform, promised Kenyans a revolution. A revolution that would put food and clean water on every Kenyan’s table, ensure that every child received a quality education, create wealth, ensure that every Kenyan gained access to quality and affordable healthcare, empower Kenyan women, keep Kenya safe and secure, and develop a cogent foreign relations and trade policy for Kenya. Taking recent events into account, including a ravaging drought for which the Government was woefully under-prepared, followed closely by a dramatic spike in the cost of food, the Kenyatta administration has not done too well on the first promise of its seven-pronged manifesto. In fact, it can be argued that it has failed spectacularly. And yet, State House S

OUTSIDE POLITICS A BIT. THESE TIPS ARE EQUALY IMPORTANT.

SELF DEVELOPMENT TIPS 1. Make friends with successful people and occasionally buy them gifts and surprise them with lunch because successful people always give and hardly get, so when you give them, they value the gift a lot. 2. Get a mentor and follow his instructions and respect the relationship. Never beg your mentor for money or disrespect his or her privacy. 3. Make new positive friends as often as possible and ensure you keep the communication line open. Create a network of friends and not just connections. 5. Show kindness to everyone. Some small boys today will be big boys tomorrow. The biggest dog in the neighbourhood was once a puppy. And keep the information/secret to yourself. 6. Always plan ahead and be proactive. He that plans the future work less in the future. 7. Listen to speeches and messages from great teachers. Both religious and educational. 8. Attend seminars and training on any area you need to improve yourself. Train the trainer, personal developmen

TO LEADERS AND ASPIRING LEADERS.

We live in a world where everybody wants to lead and not to be led, which is not bad, being a leader is more or less a privilege. The problem now comes when we have leaders who don't have the relevant leadership qualities, and make a disgrace out of themselves. We all look forward to a society where leaders can be defined at personal level, leaders who understand what leadership is,leaders who are servants and not bosses. Here are 11 points that will help us and the future realise the "perfect "leaders we all want. To that leader,or upcoming leader: 1.Do your best to set a good example and lead with actions, not words. 2.Share the big picture so that everyone knows the effects of there contributions. 3.Trust that your team will get things done because they have the skills. 4.You delicate tasks so that you don't end up micromanaging everyone's work. 5.You empower your team to take action and set up when necessary. 6.You inspire those around you to put forth the

A CALL TO STAND APART.THINK ABOUT IT.

Our political systems and the quest for power in the country has greatly increased injustices and political malpractices. I hereby give a case file and deep thought as a demostration of the point I am trying to bring home. Looking back at history, its better to conclude that the most dangerous people in the world are not the tiny minority instigating evil acts, but those who do the acts for them. Looking at India in history, when the British invaded India, many Indians accepted to work for the British to kill off Indians who resisted their occupation. So in other words many Indians were hired to kill other Indians on behalf the enemy for a paycheck.Today we have mercineries in Africa, cooperate arms from the western world and unemployed men through out the middle east killing their own people and people of other nations for a paycheck. To act without conscience but for a paycheck makes anyone a dangerous animal. The devil would be powerless if he couldn't entice people to do his wor

ROLE OF OPINION POLLS AS KENYA HEADS TO ELECTION

The research companies most so those dealing with opinions e.g ipsos and infotrack have served as good employers to many people in the country. At the same time, the opinion polls examiners stand the risk of possibly creating unnecessary tention in the country. Basically Opinion is just what someone feels about something, not his final decision on a subject matter. To the best of my knowledge, the polls are conducted using afew people as experiment and use the result to make a final judgment about who or what party is popular amongst the people. However, the polls should be questioned based on the following grounds; 1.Nothing proves and supports the fact that the experimental persons are registered voters, they just give opinions. 2.A larger percentage of the masses are not interrogated, the polls are just approximations. 3.The latest polls conducted by infotrack just majored on the majority of those interviewed or questioned. 4.The polls on NASA'S preffred flag bearer may be na

POWER ,FAME =OPPRESSION

Without hiding under the umbrella of development and better lives for the people, its evident that the ultimate aim of politicians and politics in Kenya today is basically money, power and fame. Nevertheless the hard earned power and fame through popular vote has been misused over the years todate. It has been a source of oppression of the poor and the needy, the desparate for money. Just as the case of the devil,he cannot be powerful and influencal unless he uses people to achieve his evils, the sama way politicians use the less fortunate who ho as far a killing and betraying family members for a mere pay check. If only poverty could be seen as a reason to work hard and make informed descisions on the leaders we choose, brothers could not be killing each other. Its high time our leaders stopped taking advantage of the less fortunate for there evil and selfish gains. Stand up against such political and social vices for a better nation.

JUST THE BEGGINING.

What kind of politics do we play in Keny?Is it that of hatred and division or that of cohesion and construction. It should come to our full knowledge that we Kenyans have the destiny of the nation as far as politics and national cohesion it concerned. Its very possible to have a nation where the National Cohesion and Intergration commission will lack use and significance. Join me in my next article in this same blog as I scrutinize and elaborate the above statement. Patience Victor Political blogger.
